Maine Recording Studio

Making sounds is one thing but accurately capturing them and then producing them is another. This lullaby CD was recorded and produced by Mark Francis at his studio called My Thrill Studio. Mark did a wonderful job selecting and positioning the mic and accurately capturing the songs.

In addition, sound engineers are often called upon for "artist management". Recording artists can get frustrated or impatient after 4 or 5 takes and Mark does a great job of recognizing that and saying, "let's take a few deep breaths before we try it again". This creates a supportive environment for the singer which results in better music made faster. My special thanks to Mark for both his technical and psychological support in the making of Lullaby and Goodnight - 33 Lullabies for Babies.
